Week 21 Round-up

Well, the response to the blog just keeps astounding me.
If April was a month when I lost impetus because the number of views had remained static, May is the month when I am giddy with the figures.
Last weekend (Saturday and Sunday) there were more than 1,100 page views.
I know this is no hill of beans when it comes to the big-hitters but when you consider my previous monthly best was 5,713, this shows a huge upturn.
Saturday was my new record of 628 and Sunday's was my second best ever, topping 500.
There doesn't seem any obvious explanation either. Ok, the review of Closer To The Edge is still performing incredibly well, but every film seems to have had its followers.
Bollywood does surprisingly well.
Also, everyfilm made its first appearance on the daily BBC Film bulletin, thanks to the review of Planeat.
This week I've reviewed 13 movies, with some very good ones and some poor.
None, however, warranted places in either the rolling best or the worst top tens.
But I'm giving my film of the week to Client 9: The Rise And Fall of Elliot Spitzer.
Here are the running charts and thank you all again for reading.
